Actress and Celebrity MasterChef finalist Wendi Peters, best known for starring in Coronation Street, has been announced as a celebrity ambassador for The Pepper Foundation, which raises funds to care for children with life threatening conditions in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

Peters commented 'This is a huge honour and I am looking forward to becoming a part of this wonderful local charity and the tremendous work it does for children'.
